Free-use Unofficial Companion Kontent License

My attitude on letting people make suplemnts for my games has always been "Fuck, I don't care, do whatever," but unfortunately it seems that's not good enough for the new generation, so I had to write a license. And since I had to write it, I might as well let anyone else use it too. So full license text below.

Free-use Unofficial Companion Kontent License 1.0

This license grants authorization to create supplementary content (defined as any content that expands or enhances the core game while still requiring the use of the core rule book) for a specified game without need for additional authorization or approval from the rights owner(s) (hereafter referred to as “Publisher”).

Usage

This license grants use of the following content for use in the creation of supplementary content as defined above.

Title: May be used in product tile, text, descriptions, and promotional materials for the purpose of stating compatibility. In all uses the title must be presented exactly as written in the attribution notice, unless additional authorized formats are specified.

Names: Names of game mechanics, attributes, locations, people, monsters, etc may be references to the extent that they are necessary for defining the supplementary content, excluding those with additional protections or different ownership which must be specified.

No other content (text, images, etc) may be used without additional specific authorization.

Notice

Notice of use of the license may be included in digital or print products or posted on any official platform, and must include a link to the full license. Full text of this license may be included only in digital or print books.

A full attribution notice (as defined below) must be provided by the publisher using the license.

Attribution

The following notice must be included exactly as provided by the publisher in the supplementary content on the same page and at the same size as other credits and legal notices.

Released under the FUCK (Free-use Unofficial Companion Kontent) License for [Game title] by [Author and/or publisher].

No content herein has been endorsed or approved by the original creator or publisher.

Termination

The publisher may, at any time, discontinue their use of the license for any reason without notice. This does not revoke the license for content created while it was in use,  nor for products containing notice of the license’s use.
